Face Mapping: Acne and your body

I'm using my face as an example

It's really hard to tell, but I numbered the areas of my face where acne can occur. Acne on certain parts of our face could be a way of our body telling us something, so it's important to find out what it is.
Area 1&2: The forehead is related to our bladder and digestive system. Having acne in this area means that you need to drink more water and eat more whole foods. It could also mean stress.

Area 3: Between Eyebrows. This area is related to our liver, so cut down on alcohol consumption. If you have a food allergy like being lactose intolerant, then cutting out dairy products is a good idea.

Area 4: The Ears. The ears are related to our kidneys, so drinking plenty of water and cutting down on alcohol and caffeine is recommended.

Area 5: Cheeks. Our cheeks are related to our lungs and respiratory system, so if you're a smoker, live in an environment with low air quality, or have asthma, you may experience acne in this area quite often. Holding your cell phone against your face could also be the reason for acne.

Area 6: Eye Area. Our eyes also are related to our kidneys, so again, drink plenty of water.

Area 7: Nose. Our nose has to do with our heart, so if your nose is always red, then you may have high blood pressure.

Area 8: Upper Lip. Having acne on the upper lip could just be from using lipsticks/liners or having a poor diet.

Area 9: Jaw Line: The jaw line indicates a hormonal imbalance, and many women may experience breakouts here during menstruation.

Area 10: Chin. Having acne on the chin could also be a hormonal imbalance or stress.

Area 11: Neck. Having acne on the neck usually occurs when your body is fighting illness.

  1. This post was like a reminder to me, saying, "Start exercising again!" Thank you!
I notice my face begins to clear up (even the hormonal acne) when I begin working out.
