What to get your Boyfriend for Christmas

Hello everyone! I'm back with another gift guide, this time for your boyfriend. I feel like shopping for a guy is pretty hard, because in my case, I have a boyfriend who tells me he wants 'nothing' but of course I still have to get him something. What I like to do, is go to the mall and window shop, but what I'm really doing, is paying attention to the things that my boyfriend looks at. This is a really good trick to getting him something that you know he likes. But if he's stubborn and you just want to surprise him, then the gifts listed below make great gifts too.

If your boyfriend loves listening to music, then an iHome bluetooth speaker is perfect plus, it looks really cool. If your boyfriend is the stylish type, then a pack of really nice socks, a wallet, backpack, or a watch is for him. Gamer? Then get him another controller for his game system so he could enjoy playing multiplayer games. Is he kinda messy and always losing his keys? A wooden docking system is just right.

What to get your Girlfriend for Christmas

Hello everyone! I know I've been away from my blog for a while, but I'm back! If you've been following my blog, then you might have noticed the changes I made to my theme. I've been obsessing over shades of blue lately but I STILL LOVE PINK. Pink and blue look so cute together, and I'm really happy that Pantone selected their two colors of the year to be a shade of pink and blue! Serenity and Rose Quartz; they go hand in hand and it represents balance. Anyway, it's the holidays and I'm sure you're wondering what to get your girlfriends. When I say girlfriends, I mean it could be your sister, your mom, your best friend, or your real girlfriend. Here's some tips to find out what to get them.
Find out what spikes her interests. Jot down some things that you know she's interested in. If she loves nature, exercising, art, or makeup, then find things that are related to that. She'll love it and appreciate it even if you don't think she will.
OR
You could just straight up ask them what they want:) But if you want to surprise them or they're being stubborn and don't want to tell you, then you could never go wrong with any of these gift ideas.

What I've been up to

Hey guys! For the past two weeks, I've been quite busy and I didn't have time for blogging and I apologize for that:(
So, last week, I spent a lot of time trying to get my last minute costume together. I didn't know what to be but I finally decided to go with Touka Kirishima from Tokyo Ghoul. My costume was easily put together after that. I wore a white collared shirt and attached a red bow to it, and I wore a navy blue circle skirt that I had sitting in my closet. I paired it with long leather boots that I purchased from a thrift store and I topped the look off with a purple/blue short wig that I borrowed from my sister. For my makeup, I just used Michelle Phan's makeup tutorial that she did on Rize. I felt like my costume wouldn't be complete without the rabbit mask that Touka wears in the anime, so I made one out of paper plates:) I really wanted my boyfriend to dress up as Kaneki, but like I said, this was last minute *tears*
You can find more pictures of me on my instagram^_^
This isn't my picture, I found it on the web and it best captures the look I was going for.

Other than Halloween, I've been working on my midterm paper and applying for jobs. I had an interview a few days ago, now I'm hoping I landed the job, so fingers are crossed!

I'll try to post more often, I have some ideas and things I wanna share with you guys so stay tuned c:

Nintendo 3DS & Animal Crossing Review

Hello everyone! So yesterday, my super sweet boyfriend bought me Animal Crossing: New Leaf for the new Nintendo 3DS, and I cannot stop playing it! The 3DS isn't mine, I use my boyfriend's, and I have never used one before. I found that the 3DS is very easy to use (maybe because the game I'm playing is for ages 7+ hehe) and for a first time user, I think it's super easy to get the hang of it.

So what are the pros and cons?
Pros:
  • buttons/controls are easily recognizable and pretty self explanatory
  • colors and images are pretty clear and brightness adjusts automatically
  • it has a very simple design that I find adorable
  • the 3D feature is really cool and adjustable
  • bottom screen doesn't need too much pressure when using the stylus
Cons:
  • feels a bit bulky
  • 3D feature looks blurry sometimes
If you have bad vision and you need to wear glasses or contacts, then I would recommend wearing them when you want to experience the 3D feature. I have bad vision and when I'm not wearing my glasses, it's really hard to focus on the 3D effects.
I was really tied between choosing Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Happy Home Designer. I love games that involve designing and creating things, but I also love games that involve a lot of challenges and quests. I spent a lot of time reading reviews for both and trying to figure out what I wanted to try first. I AM going to get the Happy Home Designer later on, but right now, I'm really glad I chose New Leaf. The characters in the game are so adorable! Especially Reese the pink alpaca and Isabelle the puppy. If you're wondering if the Nintendo 3DS is worth buying, I say yes! I definitely want to get one for myself c:

I really want to know your opinions on this game and on the Happy Home Designer as well! So please comment below what you guys think about it and perhaps we could exchange codes ;u;

Mens Workout Clothes

I wanted to make a list of workout clothes again, but this time for boys/men. I go to the gym and I see guys exercising in their regular day to day clothes. Maybe they can't afford workout clothes (mens clothes are more expensive than women clothes). So I felt inspired to share some workout gear for the dudes who might be on a budget.

Adidas Go-to Performance tee... Nike Solid Tee... UA Quarter Shorts... UA Relentless Warm-up pants... High Top Converse in Black... High Top Converse in White...

Yes converse are considered a gym shoe! Its not recommended to run in them but they are pretty durable for just about everything else. I like to use them on my leg day because they're flat:)
Everything above comes in more colors except for the Nike Tee. I hope this helped you<3

DIY: Hair Bows

Today I made this cute bow! I am so happy with the way it turned out! I made this bow using a sewing machine, but you can also use fabric glue if you don't know how to sew.
What you'll need is fabric, scissors, a ruler, hair clips, a glue gun, and an iron is optional. Of course you'll need a sewing machine or some fabric glue.

1)The first thing you're going to do is cut out two pieces of fabric. One piece will be 10 1/2 inches wide and 9 1/2 inches long. The other piece will be 3 1/2 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches long. Lay them down flat with the pretty side of the fabric facing upwards.

2)Fold the two pieces of fabric hot dog style and sew along the tops only. They should look like little sleeves when you're done.

3)Turn the fabric inside out, and iron them flat with the sewed edge in the center.

4)flip the fabric over with the side that has the sewn edge facing down, and you're gonna do the same thing you did in step 2 except you fold the pieces of fabric hamburger style.

5)Flip the fabric inside out again and they should look like a little bracelet and a ring.

6)You're gonna keep the bigger piece flat, and fold it accordion style and slide it through the smaller piece.

7)lastly, you're going to fan out the sides and then hot glue your hair clip to the back.

I've made so many bows already, I have become an addict! If anything confuses you, feel free to tell me down in the comments and I'll be happy to help you understand:)
